Morgan starred as a woman on the AIDS prevention and education video Safe Sex for Men and Women. Proceeds from the video were donated in part towards the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan serves as a participant on the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan spearheaded other fund raising initiatives and gave a testimony at a special Congressional panel about AIDS awareness. She also serves as a Board of Directors for Amfar as well as the Board of Governors of APLA. She has been asked to replace the former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop at the AIDS-related gatherings. Steve Bell, a anchor for the news has hosted an AIDS Awareness Special. Ted Koppell interviewed Morgan twice on Nightline about AIDS. Morgan has been nominated for an Emmy for her performance in the Murphy Brown episode written by Diane English for her. This spring, Morgan costarred with Joan Rivers as Your Money or Your Wife on ABC television. She then started the summer by starring in Murder At The PTA Luncheon that was created by Von Zerneck/Sertner and included Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. She then starred in Harmony Gold's production Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady that starred Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan has also been the only actress to appear in the USA Network's psychological suspense-thriller, which garnered some of most impressive ratings they have ever had.
